Channel 4 Gogglebox new Scottish duo Roisin and Joe to star in latest episode

Britain’s sharpest armchair critics have returned for a new series and are back ready to entertain the nation.

Well-known faces return on the hit show Gogglebox on Channel 4 such as sisters Ellie and Izzi, the Malones and Jenny and Lee give their views on the latest TV shows.

This week, viewers can expect to see them react to a variety of programmes including Teen First Dates and Celebrity Help! My House Is Haunted as well as BBC News coverage of the Covid pandemic, according to the Radio Times.

And viewers will be introduced to a new Scottish duo, Roisin and Joe, who will be making their debut on the show.

Gogglebox announced the news on Instagram and said: Meet our new Scottish Goggleboxers Roisin and Joe!

“See you on the sofa for brand new #Gogglebox TONIGHT, 9pm on @Channel4”

Last week for the first episode, the stars of the Channel 4 show were watching The Masked Singer, Trigger Point, Pam & Tommy, First Dates: Valentine’s, Dragons’ Den, and Mary Beard’s Forgotten Art.

Here is the full list of Gogglebox families expected to appear in season 19:

  • Sisters Ellie and Izzi

  • Best friends Jenny and Lee

  • Brother and sister duo Sophie and Petr

  • Married couple Giles and Mary

  • Married couple Daniel and Stephen

  • Friends Amira and Iqra

  • The Siddiqui family – Umar, Baasit and Sid

  • Married couple Dave and Shirley

  • Partners Mica and Marcus

  • The Malone family – Tom, Julie and Shaun

  • Brothers Tristan, Twaine and Tremaine

  • The Worthington family – Alison, George and Helena

Gogglebox episode two of series 19 will air at 9pm on Channel 4 on Friday February 25.
