There are huge queues after a crash near a busy roundabout in Nottingham.

The collision has occurred near the Wheatcroft roundabout near Tollerton on Thursday, March 10.

Traffic website Inrix is reporting heavy congestion and delays of around 20 minutes for drivers.

Eyewitnesses have told Nottinghamshire Live police cars and an ambulance have been spotted at the scene amid the heavy traffic.

Traffic website Inrix states: “Queueing traffic and delays on A606 Melton Road before Lenton Avenue. Congestion to the southbound A52 for traffic approacking the Wheatcroft Island from Gamston .

“In the roadworks area. Travel time is around 20 minutes.”

Motorists should expect delays if they are driving in the area.
