Freeman has been remanded in police custody to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on March 22, 2022. Detective Sergeant Andrea Brown, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “There is absolutely no excuse for anyone to ever carry or be in possession of a petrol bomb.

“For obvious reasons, items of this nature can pose a substantial risk to anyone they come into contact with. Our officers have now seized this item and a man has been charged in connection with this incident. The investigation remains ongoing.”
