The man was taken to hospital with head injuries and a suspected fractured cheekbone. His condition is not thought to be life-altering or life-threatening, while the woman’s injuries were less severe.

Two suspects, a 28-year-old man and a 19-year-old woman, were found a short distance away and arrested on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
