Four charges are faced by Manjengwa, who will next appear at Nottingham Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on May 12. He will remain on conditional bail.
It is alleged he raped a woman over the age of 16 years in Nottinghamshire on September 13, 2020; two charges of sexually assaulting the same alleged victim on the same date; and raping the second victim on July 26, 2020. No further details were heard about the allegations.
Chairman of the Magistrates, Richard Eaton, said two of the charges brought against Manjengwa can only be heard at the crown court. “We will send them with the other sexual assault charges together for a hearing at Nottingham Crown Court on May 12. You are released on conditional bail.”
