Police statement after man reportedly assaulted in Daybrook

Police have issued a statement after a man was reportedly assaulted. Officers were called to Longmead Drive, Daybrook at around 7.15pm on Monday, April 18, after receiving reports that a man had been assaulted.

Detectives are in the early stages of investigating the incident and have reassured people that they believe this is an isolated incident. The police have appealed to anyone who may have information to get in touch.

Inspector Paul Grant, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Officers were called to an incident in Longmead Drive, Daybrook, at around 7.15pm this evening (Monday, April 18) after receiving reports of a man reportedly being assaulted.

“We are still in the very early stages of our investigation and detectives are working hard to understand what happened.

“We would like to reassure the public that we do believe this to be an isolated incident.” Anyone with any information is asked to contact 101, quoting incident number 658 of April 18 2022.
