Nottingham to London train tickets for £12 in major sale

People will be able to travel by train from Nottingham to London for just £12 as part of a major national sale. The discounts are on offer for more than a month as part of the ‘Great British Rail Sale’, aimed at boosting rail travel numbers after the Covid pandemic.

Travellers can purchase a one-way to London St Pancras for £12.20, or a return for £24 during the sale, which covers selected routes from April 25 and May 27. People can also buy a £1.50 single ticket to Leeds and £5.30 for a one-way to Birmingham New Street.

Also among the selected deals, which mainly consist of off-peak and advance tickets, are trips to Liverpool Lime Street for as low as £8.50 and Manchester Piccadilly for £6.70. Prices can be further reduced with a railcard.

All key operators have signed up to the sale, including East Midlands Rail and Northern, and passes can be purchased through major ticketing sites such as Trainline and My Train Ticket. Bookings opened at 10am on Tuesday, April 19 and are sold on a first come first serve basis.
