3 arrests over reports of Sneinton street fight

Three men were arrested in Sneinton following reports of a street fight. Officers were called to the junction of Sneinton Road and Colwick Road at around 9.30pm on Friday, June 10, following reports of a disturbance.

A 32-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of affray and possessing a weapon in a public place. Two other men, both aged 58, were subsequently arrested on suspicion of affray.

PC Gail Collins, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We will always respond swiftly to reports of violent disorder and anyone involved is very likely to find themselves in police custody. Our investigation into this incident is ongoing and we would like to appeal to any additional witnesses to come forward by calling 101 and quoting incident 898 of June 10, 2022.” The three people arrested remain in police custody.
