Police have released new images of people they want to speak to after a man was stabbed. Police were called to Hardy Street, Arboretum, shortly before 7.50pm on April 22 following reports of a disturbance in which a man was injured.
The victim suffered a stab wound to the stomach and was taken to hospital to be treated for their injuries, which were not life-altering. Officers say inquiries, including reviewing CCTV, have been ongoing since the incident and officers have now released images of eight people they would like to speak to as the investigation continues.
Anyone who has any information, recognises the people pictured or has any CCTV footage is being asked to get in touch. Investigator Victoria Batterham, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “A man was left needing hospital treatment after suffering injures to the stomach following the disturbance.
“Thankfully their injuries are not believed to be life-threatening or life-altering. Our investigation has been on going since we received the report but we are now seeking the public’s help to try and trace these people. Any information, no matter how small, could be greatly beneficial to our investigation.
“We are now asking for the public’s help to help us identify the people pictured as we believe they may have important information which could help us, so we would ask anyone who may recognise them to get in touch with us.”
Anyone with any information, CCTV or mobile phone footage is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 737 of April 22 2022, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
