Wearing certain shoes while driving can lead to drivers being fined

Council officers have arrived at the Victoria Embakment as travellers have pitched up there. The caravans have been spotted at the site near Trent Bridge on Friday, June 17.
Community protection officers from Nottingham City Council have arrived at the scene, with pictures showing them overlooking the caravans parked up on the field. Caravans also arrived near Victoria Embankment last month before being moved on by the council.
It comes after caravans were also seen near the popular Nottingham Powerleague playing pitches off Thane Road near Clifton Bridge in Nottingham on Thursday evening, June 16. Pictures taken from the powerleague car park show a number of caravans in the field along with a group of people congregating nearby.

An eyewitness told Nottinghamshire Live that there were around 25 caravans at the site as of Friday afternoon.
