A number of emergency vehicles were called to a school in Nottingham due to an urgent incident. The emergency vehicles were sent to Nottingham High School, Waverley Mount on Tuesday, June 28.

The road remained open and there was no cordon in place when Nottinghamshire Live went to the scene. There were three police cars parked in the road.

The High School also has Infant and Junior schools, as well as a Sixth Form. It is believed that there was concerns for the safety of one of the senior school pupils.

Nottingham High School’s headmaster, Kevin Fear, communicated to parents of the school at the time of the incident. The message – seen by Nottinghamshire Live – stated that the school was dealing with the situation. There was a reassurance to parents that it was not a widespread incident, and that lessons were continuing.
