Boxing legend Frank Bruno made an appearance at Nottingham’s Victoria Shopping Centre on Saturday, June 25. The British former heavyweight champion was in the city to meet adoring fans and sign copies of his book – 60 Years a Fighter.
Crowds of people who had pre-booked the meet and bought the book queued up to meet Bruno from 12noon on Saturday, June 25. Images circulated on social media during the three-hour meet.
One Twitter user described it as the “best day ever”. @reddogjamie said: “Best day ever! Met Frank Bruno and he signed my book. Photo with my mum and two daughters. Legend! I am star struck.”
