Nottingham shoppers may be disappointed if they’re after a can of Heinz soup from Tesco. Shoppers in the city centre have submitted images showing many Heinz products on Tesco shelves – apart from soup.
Although Heinz is found in many cupboards across the UK, they are currently in a dispute with supermarket Tesco. Heinz have stopped supplying Tesco with many products because of a pricing dispute.
The much loved brand reportedly wanted to rise prices of their products due to production costs. Tesco however, said that they do not want to do that to their customers.

Many shoppers are seeing the impact of the pay dispute with many favourite products not available to purchase. In the Tesco in the Victoria Centre however, many products apart from Heinz soups were found.
It seems that Nottingham City Centres s including Victoria Centre and the Tesco Express on Upper Parliament street also do not have soup. Submitted images show many other products such as Heinz Beans, Heinz Ketchup and other Heinz sauces stacked on shelves.
A Tesco spokesperson has previously sad: “We’re laser-focused on keeping the cost of the weekly shop in check, offering customers great value through our combination of Aldi Price Match, Low Everyday Prices and Clubcard Prices.
“With household budgets under increasing pressure, now more than ever we have a responsibility to ensure customers get the best possible value, and we will not pass on unjustifiable price increases to our customers. We’re sorry that this means some products aren’t available right now, but we have plenty of alternatives to choose from and we hope to have this issue resolved soon.”
