A major route has been closed after emergency services were called to a collision. The A52 is closed eastbound in Derby between A5111 near Alvaston and M1 near Risley due to a crash.
National Highways has confirmed that Derbyshire Police are currently the scene of the incident. National Highways have asked motorists to allow extra time if they are travelling in the area.
In a Twitter post, National Highways, said: “The #A52 is closed eastbound in #Derby between #A5111 near #Alvaston and #M1 near #Risley due to a collision. Derby Police are currently on scene. Please allow extra time if travelling in the area.” The circumstances of the accident have not yet been reported and it is uncertain whether there have been any injuries.
