A new Dunkin’ Donuts store has just opened just outside Nottingham and a load of freebies are on the cards for the very first customers who rock up on the day. The Nottingham Panthers’ mascot, Paws the Panther, will also be at the shop to welcome anyone who fancies a freshly-brewed coffee or sweet treat this weekend.
Dunkin’ is the latest business to open at Wilford Lane Retail Park, following in the footsteps of the Cod’s Scallops, PureGym and Lidl, which have all opened recently. It is Dunkin Donuts’ fourth store to open in the Nottingham area.
A ribbon is set to be slashed at 10am on Saturday, June 18 while customers will be entitled to merchandise giveaways, free coffee and donuts, face painting and games like ‘Dunk for a Donut’ throughout the day. The first 50 customers through the door after the official ribbon cutting ceremony will receive an exclusive card which entitles them to free hot and cold drinks for 30 days.

Sixteen new jobs have been created by the opening of the new store. There will be face painting from 10am to 2pm, and Paws the Panther will arrive at 11am.
James Guy, new store openings manager, says: “Our vision for the new store is to provide the people of West Bridgford with a place to make sweet memories with family and friends. I hope to meet many of you at our amazing opening event where we’ll be giving you the opportunity to win all kinds of DUNKIN’ goodies.”
