A 24-year-old man is facing serious charges including stalking and burglary. Stuart Eatherington, of Rosecroft Drive, Arnold, attended Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on the allegations but they were so serious they can only be dealt with at Nottingham Crown Court.

Eatherington is accused of: Assault causing bodily harm to a female on October 25, 2021, and burglary at an address in Toseland Gardens, Hucknall, where he is alleged to have stolen a mobile phone. He is further charged with: engaging in coercive or controlling behaviour, as well as unauthorised access to a computer to facilitate the commission of an offence, and the stalking.

No indication of plea was given during a brief hearing before magistrates. More details about the allegations will be heard at the crown court on July 20.
