A man accused of firearms and drugs offences is due in court. It comes after firearms and drugs were found at a property in Mansfield.
Officers found the items during a warrant at an address in Princess Street on Thursday (June 30), Nottinghamshire Police reports. A man has been charged in connection with the incident.
Daniel Bickerton, aged 40, of Princes Street, Mansfield, appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Friday (July 1). He is charged with possessing a firearm and a shotgun without a certificate, possessing ammunition without a certificate, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs and acquiring/using/possessing criminal property.

He was remanded in custody and is next due to appear at Nottingham Crown Court on July 29. Detective Inspector Nick Hall, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “The force will use all investigative means at its disposal to crack down on weapon-enabled crime and reduce the availability of firearms.”
