Man stabbed in chest at Nottingham Forest Recreation Ground

A man has been stabbed in the chest at Forest Recreation Ground in Nottingham. The victim was attacked at the park at around 6pm on Friday, June 17.

He sustained a wound to his chest was taken to hospital for treatment. His injuries were not life-threatening.

A second man was wounded in his hand whilst trying to stop the assault. Nottinghamshire Police are appealing for witnesses to come forward after the “nasty” incident.

Detective Constable Michael Love said: “This was a nasty assault that left two people requiring hospital treatment. We are working to understand the circumstances that led up to this attack and would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the incident.

“We treat any form of knife crime with the utmost seriousness and are working tirelessly to find the person of people responsible to this attack.”
