One of the delights of summer is fresh, in season, soft fruit. Ripe juicy strawberries, delicate raspberries and blueberries a plenty. If you haven’t created your own little garden fruit crop, then a ‘pick your own’ site is the next best thing.

Throughout Nottinghamshire and the surrounding areas, there are several locations where you can indulge in a pleasant afternoon’s picking whilst selecting the best fruit to boost your five-a-day intake. Below is a list of sites but do check with the venue before making a trip.

Fruit may not be ready, out of season, or simply all picked: Opening times do change with the seasons to reflect these factors. Some sites may also ask you to take your own container – which will save costs and the environmental impact.
