A woman has been charged after a ‘spree of incidents’ in Nottingham city centre. Police have been investigating reports of a burglary in Short Hill, in the Lace Market.
This was reported on Sunday, June 26, at around 1.50am. Electrical items and bank cards were alleged to have been stolen.
Police also received further reports of parcels reportedly being taken and a theft from a store in the Victoria centre, Nottingham city centre. Natalie Kirk, aged 30, of Camomile Gardens, Hyson Green, was charged with dwelling burglary, burglary, fraud and shop theft in connection with the investigation.

She appeared at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on Thursday (June 30). Kirk was remanded into custody and will next appear at Nottingham Magistrates’ Court on July 7.
Detective Inspector Chris Berryman, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “We understand the impact any form of burglary, theft and fraud can have on a person, family and business and will always do everything we can to investigate and get to the bottom of exactly what happened.” Anyone with any information is asked to call 101, quoting incident 70 of June 26, or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 08000 555 111.
