Police concerned for missing 55-year-old Nottingham man

Police say they are concerned for the safety of a 55-year-old man who has been reported missing from the Bestwood area of Nottingham.

Darren Harvey Taylor was last seen in the area to the north of the city yesterday (June 16), and Nottinghamshire Police has appealed to the public to help find him. He is described as of stocky build, 5ft 8ins tall, and bald. He was last seen wearing a black jacket, charcoal grey straight leg jeans and white trainers.

Nottinghamshire Police has asked anybody who has seen Darren or knows where he is to contact it. It said on Facebook: “If you have seen Darren or know where he might be, please call us on 101, quoting incident number 442 of 16/06/2022. You can also call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.”

The charity Missing People says that somebody is reported missing every 90 seconds in the UK. It says it is the only UK charity lifeline for anyone affected by someone going missing, and anybody needing support can call it on 116 000.
