A popular Nottingham festival is set to return for its tenth year and mark a return to full capacity following the lifting of Covid restrictions. Lady Bay Festival will return to The Nottingham Rugby Club on Saturday, July 16 from 12 pm until 10:30 pm.

The live music lineup will include international acts such as James Walsh from Starsailor, Ben Ottewell, Rue Royale and Dekker among local talent. Local music will include Nottingham-based live music collective, Stinking Rita with their collection of dirty blues, trance and jazz.

Liverpool band Bobby West and the Outsiders will also be joining the lineup alongside festival favourites Analogue Haze.

Tickets for the festival are currently on sale priced at £26 for adults or £11 for children aged 11 to 17. Admission is free for any children under 11. There are also discounts for local residents looking to join in the fun.

There will be plenty on offer for families looking to visit the festival with face painting, graffiti and a bouncy castle at the event. For those who like to get active, the festival will also feature an assault course, an inflatable zone and a huge slide. There will also be the chance to join a silent disco or take part in some arts and crafts on the day.

When it comes to food, there will be a huge array of local businesses on hand to offer some tasty treats. This will include Nottingham favorites, Falafel Baffle who will be serving homemade vegan and vegetarian food. Ken’s Barbi will come to Lady Bay straight from Glastonbury to provide their gourmet grub for festival-goers.

The festival, which went virtual during Covid restrictions, is back at the rugby club with a full lineup of live music, great food and stalls from local businesses. Last year, the event was one of Nottingham’s first Covid safe outdoor music events partially thanks to its spacious green location.

James Walsh (Starsailor) said: “Excited to return to Nottingham after a great gig at the Bodega earlier in the year. Can’t wait to play Lady Bay Festival this summer alongside the amazing Ben Ottewell and a host of other fantastic acts.”
