Police have provided an update into a crash which closed a busy Nottingham road. Mansfield Road in Carrington was cordoned off by police after the collision on Tuesday, June 28 between a pedestrian and a car.
The pedestrian was a woman in her eighties and she was taken to hospital for treatment. Police have now confirmed that her injuries are not thought to be life-threatening. Three response units from East Midlands Ambulance Service as well as multiple police cars attended the incident.
Following the incident Nottinghamshire Police officers redirected traffic on the road. Watcombe Road was cordoned off and Mapperley Hall Drive, located opposite where the incident occurred, was coned off.
Nottinghamshire Police are asking for anyone who saw what happened to call Nottinghamshire Police on 101 and quote incident number 474 of June 28, 2022.
